Gardner is such a show off, I mean who steals home on the very first game of the season? Who steals home to begin with? Geeze, such a show off...

It WORKED... and the run wouldnt have scored if he didnt do that. I dont gets how thats "showing off". I thought it was a good play and a PLANNED double steal.

This post is a little ridiculous...

Its a joke, chill your grill :-B

Its just surprising to see someone steal home on the very first day. I mean how many times a year does a player steal home? Not very many, so I feel it appropriate to call him a show off. :-)

Except that it wasn't a classic steal of home. Gardner simply took advantage of a big mistake by VMart.

He is going to get fined twice...once for the airmailing the throw to the backstop and again for making Sabathia bend over to pick the ball up...

He should have bowed like Ellsbury did when he stole home off Pettitte last season :-°
