Alex Rios, or Chris Davis

Particularly for tomorrow, but also in general, who to start? My roster works out just so that I gotta pick one of these guys. At the moment I'm leaning Davis because Rios is 0/8 against Westbrook (so that's something). Whatcha think?

Alex Rios... I know both struggled all year last year, but I really like Rios with the Sox for tomorrow and for the rest of the year. 20/20 is predicted every year, but I think this is one the best lineups hes been in, nice ball park to bat in and has turned it on this spring (yes i know its only spring, its only spring). Until Davis shows on the real stage that hes ready to hit the ball more then wiff on it I think I would stick with Rios...

Great thanks to soto for the sweet sig!...

Guess it comes down to this...

Either your roster needs the speed or needs the power, oh but wait }:-) Unlike Davis, Rios does both, so yet another dilema haha. Seriously tho I would roll the dice on Rios, see how Davis adapts to being back in the big leagues and being depended on. Rios is in a favorable park, better lineup imo (with Kinsler out), has the power to put outta the park and should have the green light all day as the Sox have changed gears with the couple speedsters they now have rostered this year.

You're right, all things being equal, it's better to have a power + speed attack than a power-only attack.
