WW Pitching Help - WHIR

Postby Bondman » Sun Apr 04, 2010 4:39 pm

Twelve team points league. Here's who I have (start 3SP, 2P & 2 RP):

Hamels
Kershaw
Burnett
Scherzer
Wade Davis
Soriano
Madson
Wood

I put Wood on the DL in hopes that he will be back in a month. My relief pitching is obviously poor. Hoping my hitting will make up for the lack. Any of the WW pitchers below worth a look?

Lilly (Cubs)
Correia (SD)
Lowe (Atl)
Marcum (Tor)
Feliz (Tex)
Latos (SD)
Chamberlain (NYY)

I like Lilly, But I would see how his two minor league starts go before I add him.

In the meatime, i would take Latos and keep a close eye on Lilly's progress.

I would go with Lowe hes got two starts this week and has had an unbelievable spring, I think I saw a K/BB ratio of 18 to 2. Also Latos has a ton of upside and gets a lot of strikeouts. Then Marcum. Marcum and Lowe both pitch monday so you could wait and see how they look before you add one of them.

Heres mine

Go with Latos. Keep an eye on Lilly and Marcum. If Marcum can get near what he did in '08 he would be a great bet.
