I own both Desmond and Aviles in a few leagues, and think they'll be useful for the full season, so whether they start hot or not, I don't think they'll be this eyar's Bonafacio.
My guess is Juan Francisco for the Reds. Good choice by the Reds to keep him on the big league roster at such a young age and completely ignore his complete lack of zone awareness. But hey, he can hit the ball a long ways and the Reds should totally be playing for this year
I like the Blake DeWitt call too. Dodgers are opening up against PIT, and then get the back-end of the Marlins rotation (but maybe JJ), so they'll have few good pitchers to actually bat against (Duke, Ohlendorf, Maholm, Volstad). Blake's been sizzling coming off spring training, was rewarded the starting 2B position, has the "high school pedigree" to make fantasy websites claim him as the next big thing. As a Dodgers fan, I wish the hype were true. More realistically, he turns in a pretty disappointing season this year and is eventually platooned with Ronnie Belliard at 2B.
