I've got two open roster spots thanks to a 2 for 1 trade and Reyes being on the DL. I'm desperately thin at SP and need to pick up the best two guys I can find. Standard Yahoo pitching categories. Here's some of what's available:
Clay Bucholz
Shawn Marcum
Scott Feldman
Clayton Richard
Chris Young
Fausto Carmona
Ricky Romero
Brandon Morrow
Jake Westbrook
Best two?

I'd go Bucholz and Feldman. I suppose this depends on how badly you need K's if you can stomach Feldman.
Can you help me out?

Clay Bucholz for sure
I like the sleeper upside of Fausto Carmona

Bucholz is a given. Carmona is a sneaky pick if he can bounce back.
good luck

Marcum and Buchholz.
Marcum is a bit of a wild card, just coming off TJ surgery. Still, he was really coming into his own before his injury a couple years ago. He won't blow you away with amazing velocity or wicked stuff, but he's a thinking man's pitcher and a great athlete, two factors that should help him get back to being productive quickly. He has a mean change-up that leads to a good number of Ks. I think he's a great sleeper this year.
Buchholz probably offers the most upside of any of the guys on your list. He'll need to sort out his WHIP and composure issues, but the sky's the limit with his talent, and he should get lots of run support at the very least. Could be in for a Kershaw-type season if he can put it all together.
