Beltran for Street?

I have Beltran sitting in a DL spot and was offered Huston Street for him this morning. I need a closer bad, and the owner also said he would throw in Franklin Morales?


Pull the trigger? My OF if good right now, I do not really need Beltran.

It would be better to post your roster, but just going on value, I am passing on this deal for sure.

Street is on the DL, and from I have read about his injury, it seems like even if he does return, it will likely be one of those things were he is missing time on and off all season. Morales as a throw in I guess is ok, but he is no guarantee to keep the job the entire year.

Beltran on the other hand has huge potential and a little bit more of a reliable time table. I am not giving that up for the messy closer situation in Colorado.

Id want a top tier closer for Beltran. Broxton or Paps.

Even then I'm not sure that I'd do it as I don't like dealing a big bat for closers.

Not to mention Street is starting the season on the DL Terrible offer IMO.

I just traded him Ian Desmond for Franklin Morales. Maybe I just landed the COL closer for the next 1-2 months.
