Last Keeper Slot (WHIR)

Postby BUCCOFAN » Sat Apr 03, 2010 11:07 pm

I am in a deep 15 team (deep roster) Auction Keeper League, I basically have 1 slot left, and haven't decided on who to keep. Its between 3 players.

We start 2 catchers in this league, and with 15 teams that means, most of the "big boyz" will be taken @ that position.
2-C 2-1B 2-2B 2-3B 2-SS 6-OF 8-Pitchers = Our starting roster, then a 6 man bench.

C - V.Martinez $30 (maybe high, but its a needy position which I dont mind spending at)
1B - A.Pujols $44 (STUD)
1B - K.Morales $11 (can't go wrong for $11)
2B - M.Prado $3 (multi position eligible)
SS - E.Aybar $4 (hits lead off for the Angels with Figgins gone)
OF - J.Bay $15 (Back to the NL he goes)
OF - C.Coghlan $7 (Rookie of the year)
OF - J.Borbon $3 (Speed to burn)
SP - A.Wainwright $18 (STUD)
SP - J.Johnson $1 (STUD)
SP - C.Lee $3 (Injury is a concern, but should come back, great defense behind him)
EMPTY SLOT: ??????

Choices:
C - C.Iannetta $1 (been waiting for his breakthrough seems like it will never come, Olivo splitting time?)
SP - T.Hudson $3 (having a fabulous spring, and pitches behind a studed Braves attack)
OF - D.Fowler $3 (looks to start in CF and has speed to burn)

I am leaning towards Tim Hudson, really like him to have a bounce back season. Cause I get him for 2 more seasons @ that value. Iannetta and Fowler are entering there walk off year.

Please help, leave a link WHIR.

Thanks

simple for me, hudson. Only sure bet out of those 3, even though the catcher thing scares me with their scarcity. Id stick with hudson easily though

Hudson is the safe bet, but I really like Fowler. I think Fowler can put up great fantasy numbers this year, but with Hudson, you pretty much know what your getting. I think I'm leaning towards to Hudson here.
