Slowey, I tend to lean towards pitchers with more upside and a higher strikeout rate. I know you cant read too much into spring training stats, but one to look at is k/bb ratio and slowey had a 20/4.
For what its worth, rotoworld had this
"Slowey's flyball tendencies may well hurt him in Target Field, but he turned in a very encouraging spring while pitching with screws in his surgically repaired wrist. He ends the exhibition season with a 1.95 ERA and a 20/4 K/BB ratio in 27 2/3 innings."
