He should have at least got a chance to go out there in the 9th. At the same time I'm also fine with pulling the young pitchers and not having them pitch 110+ pitches. Sweet dual to watch.

Not an awful line against the third highest scoring team.
Just couldn't wriggle out of trouble in the 5th, four innings of 0 before that are a good sign.

;-D Good to see him doing well, looks like he's learning more and more with each start.

Another fine outing for GG on the weekend against MIN. I'm really glad I stuck with him. He's rounding out to be a real nice back-end rotation guy. ;-D

Oh dear....GG with a horrible outing vs. the Cubbies. I'm starting to second guess his value now. :-S

Since throwing a career high of 117 pitches on June 6th, Gonzalez has given up 10 runs on 14 hits and 7 walks in 10.1 IP. He is only 24, so pushing him that far may have been a bad idea. Check his next start to see if Gonzalez’ effectiveness and stamina are still low.

This guy reminds me of Del La Rosa of the Rockies --an absolute h2h killer. Cant even play matchups with him because good games might be against best teams and worst games could come against bad teams.

Wild variability is fine in h2h if you have other stalwarts to keep the extremes from getting out of hand.

In fact, I would say that I'd prefer to have back-end guys who can put up that big week more than I would want my back-end guys to be reliable but unimpressive.
