Pick up Eugenio Velez or Blake Dewitt? WHIR

I am in a 14 team mixed roto league and I have Kelly Johnson as my starting 2nd baseman. I know he is my weakest link by far and the pickings are slim. We also play a MI in our league so like I said the pikings were slim when I needed to fill the spot. Should I pick up one of these two players and reserve one. I think Johnson has a real good chance to bounce back this year and be servicable but I would like to be sure.
