Apr 1 Rzepczynski (hand) was placed on the 15-day DL on Thursday, the team's official site reports.
Recommendation: This was nothing more than some roster cleanup for the Jays as they prepare for Opening Day. He'll be sidelined until mid-May.
I think there are a couple of others as well, but can't remember who they are. Are the separate stat provider peeps asleep at the wheel on this, or is there a rule that I don't know?

Is Wuertz on the DL? Last I knew he wasn't yet, but expected to be.
Rotoworld wrote:Michael Wuertz (shoulder) will resume throwing on Sunday. Wuertz was from shut down from throwing early this week due to shoulder tendinitis. Athletics manager Bob Geren said he's close to a rehab start, so he won't stick around for extended spring training. There's a good chance he returns by the middle of the month.
I didn't read explicitly that he'll be on the DL, but if they can put him on the DL (retroactive too) I doubt they would waste a roster spot until the middle of the month.
The thing to be careful of here is the difference between 'will be on the DL' and is on the DL. Take Kinsler for example. He will be on the Disabled List, but the Rangers have not put him there yet. Until they do that, Yahoo! has not (and should not) put him on the DL. It would be irresponsible to take a report and make a change, before it occurs officially.

I came here just now to see if anyone mentioned this. I own him in two deep, no-bench Cafe leagues and I'd really like that roster spot.

Right-handed pitcher Brandon Webb will start the season on the 15-day disabled list.
I'm curious if that means he is "officially" on the DL, since they have announced their 25 man roster, and he isn't in the minors, than there is nowhere else he can be, am I right? Forgive my ignorance on the technicalities here.
