So I've played Fantasy Baseball in the past, but have never gotten into it as much as I plan to this year. This is the first year Ill be playing with my Aunt who was the editor for both the A's and the Giant's programs. She knows her stuff, so I want to beat her this year. Its a small 6 team league and I did a lot of reading of these forums before the draft and have never felt so prepared for a draft, ever. I am happy with my results and would like to ask you guys if you think there is a department I am lacking in, and how I may be able to fix that. So here it is:

C Brian McCann,
1B Albert Pujols,
2B Dustin Pedroia,
3B Evan Longoria,
SS Jimmy Rollins,
2B/SS Jason Bartlett,
1B/3B Aramis Ramirez,
OF Jayson Werth,
OF Bobby Abreu,
OF Andrew McCutchen,
OF Jay Bruce,
OF Nate McLouth,
UTIL Stephen Drew,
Bench Nyjer Morgan,
Bench Chris Davis,

P Ricky Nolasco,
P Chris Carpenter,
P Jonathan Papelbon,
P Francisco Cordero,
P Huston Street,
P Chad Billingsley,
P Roy Oswalt,
P Matt Garza,
P Rafael Soriano,
Bench Cliff Lee, Sea SP

Obviously Cliff Lee will be off the bench once he is actually pitching...

Thanks a bunch! Ill try to help other people out, though I am still learning quite a bit.

What are your settings? Is it roto or H2H? Is there a cap on innings pitched?

Either way you have a great offense. If you are super active or like trading I would try to upgrade your pitching a little bit, and maybe drop Nyjer for another SP to stream in when your other guys aren't starting. In a 6-team league I'm sure there's plenty of talent available.

I can give you better help if you post details about your league.

If you wouldn't mind lending me a hand here: viewtopic.php?t=406305 thanks!

Thanks for the help! I should have mentioned that it is a roto league and there are no caps on innings pitched, at least that I can find anywhere.

Some of the SP on the FA list are:
Dempster
Lackey
E. Jackson
De La Rosa
Kazmir
Floyd
Shields
Happ
etc...

Its tough dropping players when your in such a small league because nearly everyone on each team is good. Keep an eye on De la rosa, Lackey, and Shields. But I would hang tight for the time being.

Thanks with the help with mine. In a 6 team league there are tons of talent still available. The best thing about that is that you can pick up pitchers on a week to week basis and start them based on your needs for that week. I do think that Lackey is a better player than Garza, but that can be debated. I do think that your SP has a weakness. Carpenter although had a great season last year is an injury risk and Lee is already injured. Street is hurt and closers are always showing up all season long. You may want to consider dropping him and adding someone else from the talent pool. Otherwise your hitting is pretty well stacked. I am not very high on Bartlett and Morgan and think they are overvalued, but there is no reason to make a change yet. Just keep your eyes open on who is performing and don't be afraid to drop someone.

Thanks for the help! I did a little bit of updating to my roster, I dropped Davis, moved Huston to the DL and picked up De La Rosa and Lackey. What should I do about Huston? Is he going to be out the whole season and I should get rid of him, or will he be back in a month or so?
