Beltran on DL. Waiver options. WHIR!

I need power, I've narrowed down my choices to:

Milton Bradley
Jim Thome
Russell Branyan
Brandon Inge
Troy Glaus

I've favoring Bradley, Branyan, and Glaus.
Thome just won't get enough AB. Inge's avg is just horrible. I can get the same power from the others without such a bad average.

Problem is all three guys have never been healthy.
Bradley is batting clean up, Glaus will probably go after McCann (correct me if I'm wrong), Branyan is expected to be back second week of April.

Not really great choices, but I'd take a shot with Glaus. He's hitting well this spring, but not a lot of homers. I like his bounce-back potential. I'd keep an eye on Branyan when he returns too.

Glaus for me. Health doesn't matter at this point since all you need is a fill in until Beltran comes back.
