weekly line-ups.
I need to kill two weeks before Glaus gets 1B elig. Deep league, very high stakes, Pick-ups $2 each. Very limited roster size...
Gaby Sanchez or Atkins at 1B???
Others out there:
Jacobs
kotchman
overbay
ishikawi
that's it....

yea, good points... But, Gabby is 27, has the job, and raking this spring, top 50 in Slugging and .avg having a fine spring, for whatever that is worth.

I like Kotchman because of his spot in the lineup. Gaby is a close second for me. Maybe a bit more upside, but not a whole lot, and hitting low in an NL lineup. I don't think either is bad as a two-week fill-in.

The one thing I'll say for Gaby that can't be said for Kotchman is that he has stolen a few bases in the minors. But otherwise, I agree that the profile isn't all that different.

I like Gaby a little better vs lefties and has a tad more pop...but i usually go with proven vets over rookies..
But I'm almost convinced, I'll probably go kotchy at this point...

I won my week (entire league, not head to head). I rolled with Kotchman and he did well. Gaby was close behind however. But Gaby hits 8th and Kotchman hits third vs righties. I dropped him for Barton for this week however, we'll see. I like Barton in that #2 slot in Oakland for this week.
