Sandoval for Pierre and Ludwick?!?! WHIR

Postby SLBarnes » Thu Apr 01, 2010 3:51 pm

My team is in Sig. His team is...
C - Russell Martin
1B - Carlos Peña
2B - José López
3B - Pablo Sandoval
SS - Yunel Escobar
OF - Manny Ramirez, Carlos Quentin, Adam Jones, Corey Hart
Util - Martin Prado, Juan Rivera
BN - Stephen Drew, Rajai Davis
SP - Josh Beckett, Chad Billingsley, Carlos Zambrano, John Danks
P - Huston Street, Andrew Bailey, Bobby Jenks, Ryan Franklin, John Lackey

I am interested in going after Pablo Sandoval. As seen his OF is pretty weak where mine is pretty strong. What kind of deal would you offer to get Sandoval back? I was first thinking Pierre and Ludwick, a nice mix od speed and AVG with Pierre and power and RBI with ludwick.

Any help would be great

Not sure that will get it done. I like both this year but both are no sure thing and if I was trading my 3rd/4th rounder away, I would want a sure thing back

I think Sandoval's overvalued this year, but you're still not offering enough there. Both of those guys are late-rounders.

I agree he is overvalued, but he is a lot better than having an unproven 3B in Freese. What would you offer?

Consider Lee and Jhonny P as tradebait for Sandoval. Lee covers his OF reasonably and you won't miss him, where as Jhonny helps out his bench at IF.

Tend to agree with the previous post. Lee carries the big name status which helps with his OF weakness and Jhonny is a decent contributor that is capable of putting up good numbers.

Dude, I don't want to crash your party but seriously what make you think that any one would trade Sandoval for Pierre and Ludwick? His IF isn't all that great to begin with and you're trying offer 2 bench players for Sandoval? He's probably going want 1 of your star players for Sandoval.

Maybe Rollins or Hill straight up for Sandoval might work.

ludwick and pierre isn't getting a bag of peanuts..... thats 2 players to = one decent OF'er, not beneficial....

try MANNY for sandoval, even then why would the guy do it? thats basicalyl an 8th rounder for a 3rd rounder?

u might wanna wait til the season starts, hope sandoval slumps or someone and then you can maybe make a deal.... shooting 2 pieces of crap does not = a good player.
