Give up Wandy?

Postby salty_tapioca_balls » Wed Mar 31, 2010 2:45 pm

I'm in a 13 team, $260 NL-only keeper (9) league. I have been offered John Baker $1, Happ $2, Headley $2, and Conor Jackson $18 for my $1 Wandy Rodriguez. Should I do it? Is this a stupid question? :-?

I would keep Wandy at $1. He hasn't had a good spring though. Terrible today.

Without knowing your scoring system or the rest of your team, I'd say don't do it. Of the guys offered, only Headley will be worth your while to keep - Jackson is way too expensive and Happ and Baker are just filler. Wandy is one of the 10 best starters in the NL easily, and should continue to be. Don't worry about his spring numbers - 2 seasons of stats say he's good.

Wandy was a top pitcher last year. I would keep him.
