12-team, 5x5 keeper roto league with an auction draft. My 4 keepers were Pujols ($52), Jeter ($18), Billingsley ($6), and Buchholz ($1).
Let me know what you think I need to improve this team. Don't be afraid to be harsh, I can take it haha.
Also, a fellow owner has expressed interest in Rasmus and he's dangling Jonathan Sanchez. I think they're about equal in value and I could probably use the strikeouts. What do you think?
Thanks and I'll be sure to help you if you post a link to your thread!

I would probably hold on to Rasmus he's still only 23, and i just feel like your pitching is already going to be inconsistent enough, without adding Sanchez. if you're wanting to move Rasmus I'd look for a pitcher that's a tad more stable.
Thanks for helping with mine... Sorry it has taken me so long to return the favor.
Your offense is very solid. It gets a little thin at the end, but you'll have that in league with this many starters. Your SPs are a bit weak right now. Your top 3 are basically question marks. They could all be very very good, and you'll be fine. But they could all be not so good, and you'd be in trouble. Reality is probably somewhere in the middle. Not much depth after that.
Overall the team is solid, but if I were to work on anything, it would be to add depth to your rotation.
What you did well: Getting solid batters top to bottom and solid starters
What you need to improve: I would you to have a true ace. You don't have that, so you are going to need to monitor the staff closely because most of the guys on your pitching staff could have good years or go bust (obviously some are more likely to be solid than others). Also I dislike your catchers, but that really that is going to be a problem for 75% of owners, so don't sweat it.

I think pitching is something you need to work on. You don't have a true ace,(Mets will struggle, therefore i dont consider Santana an ace). I think you should look for an emergency alternative for 3b, as Ramirez is hurt ALL the time. I also dont love Jd Drew. On the other hand, you have Albert, who is a monster, ad you have Jeter and Bay, so youre offense should be good. Overall, work on your SP, and find an alternative/backuo 3B. THanks for your input
If you havent already, you should make the Sanchez trade. I cant say that I am crazy about your team. I think Jeter delines a bit from last year.. close to 2008 than 2009. I dont like Dan Uggla at all, your outfield is unpredictable in a bad way other than Bay. Andrus is decent for a middle infielder. I of like Pujols, Ramirez, Cuddyer and Bay in that offense but the rest isnt really my type :( Suzuki is solid at the Catcher position as well, you could do worse.
Your pitching has decent potential. you are hoping for bounce backs and breakouts and you only have 1 closer it looks like.. Sanchez would help solidify your rotation and I think your pitching CAN be good, but i could also just be average.
I think you need to make a couple moves, and make a couple of good buy low or sell high trades when May comes around. Your team is fixable but this is no what I like to see... especially in a 12 team league.
I am not sure that I would trade Rasmus. I'd wait for McLouth to get going a little and try and package him. I have an issue trading for pitchers or outfielders, unless they are the cream of the crop guys. Depending upon the depth of the league, there always appears to be a sleeper that makes his way onto my team that makes an impact and is a suitable replacement. For example, I ended up picking up Andrew McCutchen and Scott Feldman. You just have to keep your eyes open.
