What's the status of Coco Crisp? Is he going to open the season on the DL? Will he be worth having on a roto 6x6 fantasy team? Stolen bases down due to injuries and surgeries?

he is playing in the spring training game today vs. the Giants so i'd say he is ok.

Now he's hurt his thumb and will be evaluated later. Doesn't look like a good year shaping up for Coco, at least not so far.

I'm guessing your keeping tabs for a deep, deep league? Or a breakout? This guy hasn't been fantasy relevant since his Cleveland days, and early BoSox days. Double digit HR and 75+ R with .300 average his last 2 years in Cleveland, since then no double digit HR, only topped 60 runs once and although 20+ steals is nice, hes only had an average over .270 once since then.

Covelli is more of a defensive player, and with his recent injury history he will be lucky to make any kind of impact in Oakland. More on topic, word is that with this recent injury he may not even be ready for opening day. Between recovering from shoulder surgery, his injured hammy and now this, he will be lucky to see 400-450 ABs this year.

Our Roto 6x6 league is deep - 14 position players, 9 pitchers, 3 reserves. I drafted Crisp late in the draft with hopes he would return to his glory days of yesteryear, especially stolen bases. Maybe not, especially now with additional injuries. I also drafted Podsednek with the same hope even though his negative is that he plays in KC. I've got to drop one player by game time on Sunday . Do you think I ought to drop Crisp or Posednek?
