Standard 5x5 roto AL only auction league, $260 to work with. Bunch of new owners coming in. Only 2 keepers allowed. I'm definitely keeping John Danks for $1. My other choice is between Jared Weaver for $3 or Shin Soo Choo for $10. Who do I keep?

Thanks for the input on mine.

I've never done an auction league, so keep that in mind, but I definitely go Weaver here. He's on a contending club and should put up a lot of wins, and at only 30% the cost of Choo I think he's a definite bargain.

I'd go with Choo for $10. I think he easily outproduces the investment and wouldnt be suprised if you could redraft Weaver or someone similar for not too much more than the $3 you'd spend to keep him.

I agree with most Choo is the guy to keep. He's worth more than the 10 spot.

AL only Choo will go for $23 and Weaver should go for $16, so it is a wash. I would stick with Choo because there is always the chance someone in your league is in love with him and will pay $28 and noone will go nutz and pay $21 for Weaver. Thus you could still get Weaver back if you want.
