Borbon/M Gonzalez for Valverde/Pierre

I'm in a 12 team, h2h points league (posted scoring below). I usually don't like making challenge trades but I like this trade a lot. I'd be giving up Julio Borbon and Mike Gonzalez for Jose Valverde and Juan Pierre. Purpose of this trade is to strengthen the end of my rotation. I also don't think there is going to be a big difference between Borbon and Pierre in this scoring system. Thoughts?

I like the Valverde/Pierre side of the deal

I think Gonzalez will get shelled in the AL East and Pierre's not a terrible downgrade from Borbon.

I feel the other guy's got rookie fever. Use it against him and move Borbon.

I must confess, I'm a little confused how this helps your rotation. You're talking your starters? I thought both Gonzalez and Valverde are slated to be closers in 2010. Has something changed recently?

I like the Borbon side of the deal slightly better. I think Borbon helps you over Pierre in five categories versus Valverde over Gonzalez, you'll see a bump in saves, but beyond that, while Valverde will outrank Gonzalez, the bump in value doesn't see as great. It's tough to evaluate since I don't have the complete proper tools (tried using Baseball Monster, but that doesn't have all those stats).

Since this is H2H, I think you want the higher value in as many categories as possible. And I think Borbon over Pierre gives you that moreso than Valverde over Gonzalez.
