DId someone forget to wake up Mike Aviles? Almost through 3 games now and not a single sighting? Didn't know their offense/defense was that sharp that he's nothing more than bench fodder.

He finally played today! Except, he was a PR.

I'm sitting patiently waiting for him though. I think his time will come soon enough.

He's coming off of Tommy John surgery....he's actually WAAYYYY ahead of schedule and is lucky to have made the big club...it was looking like he was going to start the year in the minors to get his arm strength fully healthy. He'll be starting soon enough though since he is way ahead of what they thought he would be...they just want to make sure he can make the proper throws in the infield without issue.

Thanks for the info J. I had thought the plan though was to get him in games at 2nd base - much like in ST. I thought he was supposed to be able to handle throws from there?

K Johnson could be really nice in that lineup. He is much more valuable if he can bat leadoff though, rather than 8th.
