No way. Don't do it. Granderson is not worth it (and this is coming from a Yankee fan). You have a shot to win this year. Don't play for your keepers next year when you have a legit shot. I think making this trade hurts your chances of winning now. You don't need the upgrade to Broxton, cause your pen is fine as is and losing Utley would do irreparable damage to your lineup.

Well here is another trade I would definitely not do.

Broxton is a slight upgrade to Soria, but not by that much. So would you ever really trade utley for granderson and Stewart. I would hope not.

Haha, thanks guys. My instinct is to hang onto him. Only posting because I wanted Granderson and the guy went there. But I just don't see the match either.

I think if I want to up my K's I'll look at a deal like Rajai Davis for Jonathan Sanchez.

sigriffey, you need to stop thinking of ways to jettison your season, haha. Pujols-Utely-Arod and Halladay-Greinke-CC basically guarantee you a championship this year, and you drafted pretty damn good supporting players who are very viable keepers themselves (Bay, Grady Sizemore, CarGo). And I'm sure if your 6 keeper contracts are expiring, a few other owners will have a similar problem, allowing you to draft good talent next year as well. No need to freak out!!

Just b/c Utley is in the deal doesn't make it a blockbuster! This def doesn't qualify IMO, when I dealt Pedroia and Longoria for Hanley Ramirez last year that was a blockbuster.
