It's an 8 team H2H league, 45 inning minimum per week or all pitching stats are forfeited. 9 keepers per year, no cost and no limit to how long. Stats above.
Here's what I've got:
C Jorge Posada 1B Derrek Lee 2B Brandon Phillips SS Hanley Ramirez 3B Evan Longoria OF Nick Markakis OF Adam Lind OF Jason Kubel UTIL Ryan Zimmerman UTIL Carlos Quentin UTIL Todd Helton
Bench Nyjer Morgan
SP Roy Halladay SP Yovani Gallardo SP Josh Beckett SP James Shields SP Jonathan Sanchez SP Tim Hudson SP Scott Kazmir RP Joakim Soria RP Brian Wilson RP Ryan Franklin
I think this is a good deal in the long run assuming Stras pans out, but I won the league last year and I've got a good shot at going deep in the playoffs again, so I don't want to blow a shot at a top 3 finish (i.e. the money) for possible future returns...
Thoughts?...

Thanks for your help! I'm leaning heavily towards offering Albert for Lester, Prince and Hoff
No way I make that deal if I want to win this year. What do you think your chances are? Long term maybe, but I don't think I'd do it.
Zimm's on the up and 3B is thin. Kid's going to be the 2nd best 3B by the end of this year I think - and I'm a Mets fan! Maybe I think that BECAUSE I'm a Mets fan and I know how things go in Flushing...
Beckett's in his prime and poised for a big year. He's still got some good years ahead of him. Lee's quiet and steady but has got a balky back. He's in good shape though and seems to get himself out there - and not just hit, he's a gold glove 1B - which I know means nothing in fantasy but I'm just showing the love, since he was a big part of my winning team last year and he came up big down the stretch when I needed it most.
What are the terms of the keepers? What do you give (if anything) to keep a guy?
It would be nice to see your roster before I can give advice. From what I see the deal looks something like this. Beckett = Strasburg {In a long term keeper Strasburg is gold, may be your only chance to get him. Ever. } Derrek Lee/Zimmerman >= Fielder {Fielder is definitely the best player, but Zimmerman is a stud who carries a ton of value in a long term keeper league}
I cannot give you advice without seeing your roster, but the deal is fair from an objective value point of view.
I would always try to win Now, but if you cant do that then definately take the deal. Even if you have a shot I think I might take that deal. Fielder is better than Lee, and by the end of the year we might be saying Strasburg is better than Becket (getting older, pitcing in AL East, etc.). I also really like Zimmerman, but if you can stay in the running and need a couple studs to put you over the top - Strasburg would be a great trade chip to offer one of the owners lower in the standings for one (or 2) of his top guys for 2010!
I don't do this trade. You have a team that can win NOW, and I think you lose out on significant value which impairs that goal. Strausberg will be a project for at least a few years... you've got pretty good keepers too. I wouldn't want to cut anyone valuable to baby along Straus.
I'm on the fence here. I don't think making this deal prevents you from winning now. You make a big upgrade at 1B. The big loss is Zimmerman at UTIL. Morgan from your bench isn't terrible though. It all depends on what you think of Strasburg this year and how much you want to win THIS year. I think you'd still have a shot, but you'll definitely be poised in great position for the future. I'd pull the trigger.
I think people are undervaluing Beckett a ton here... guaranteed you LOSE OUT on value THIS YEAR with this trade. Future years, it all depends on a hundred factors, but yeah, Straus has nice upside. I just wouldn't try and rebuild when I have a team which could compete now, and a group of young keepers anyway (hanley, longo, zimmerman, YoGo, Quentin, Lind) and some nice vets with plenty of productive years left (Bphil, Halladay, Beckett).
