I watch the show on occasion, and I gotta say that the general feel of the image (as well as the photo you chose) doesn't fit the character at all. I suspect that's your point, and if so, then kudos to you for throwing me off-balance.

Huh? If you have indeed seen the show, then you know that image of her fits her character perfectly. I mean the image is from a shoot promoting the show. That "confused, bitchy, WTF?" look is on her face constantly. Is that not what you're seeing? Maybe the original intended impression of the image didn't come through in the sig for you?
Really all I was trying to capture was the impression that the image evokes, which to me is a pretty girl with that "confused, bitchy, WTF?" look on her face. That along with sort of pop art effects. Did I really fail in that sense?
I don't know, it's just that the effects on the render, the "Sweet dee" font, and something else I can't quite put my finger on make her look like (to borrow a friend's term) a delicate flower, while the character herself is just as raucous, boorish, and rowdy as any of the guys. That's just my interpretation though, take it as you will.

I think that's the point: everyone in the gang is in a way, a selfish oaf. The kind of face Dee makes is sort of what I expect her first expression to be. The font fits well with what you see in the opening titles sequence too and not to mention, the 50's feel-good waltz tune.
As for the sig, I like it. I don't think I have really discriminating taste in rating sigs, but I think it's fine.
Isn't it amazing how different sigs look on different monitors? I really haven't ever bothered to log onto the Cafe from a computer other than my laptop, and likewise haven't looked at any of my sigs with a different computer. Well I did the other day from a couple different computers at school. Man it's like looking at completely new sigs.
