I see a lot of late rd speed OFers, and I would like to see how you currently rank them and especially why you rank them that way. This is by no means my ranking, but I would like to hear your thoughts on these players and any others you think I should add:
Mike Bourn Julio Borbon Nyjer Morgan Rajai Davis Juan Pierre Carlos Gonzalez Austin Jackson
Thanks for taking a few seconds to give your opinions on this.
Carlos Gonzalez --gap-- Juan Pierre Julio Borbon Nyjer Morgan Rajai Davis --gap-- Michael Bourn --gap-- Austin Jackson
Carlos Gonzalez could potentially out-perform his MDP by a long long way. Pierre is top of the next group because of his track record. Michael Bourn is on his own at the next level because he strikes out too much for a slap hitting base stealer. Austin Jackson looks like a bust waiting to happen, especially on a team that could be contending. The Tigers could replace him in a panic move if he fails early.
Extras:
Brett Gardner - has all but locked up a starting spot. Dexter Fowler - sneaky power, gives himself good opportunity to run with a strong OBP.

juan pierre seems to be the guy i end up grabbing in almost every league. i'd prefer to grab julio borbon but he is being hyped a lot and is going earlier than im willing to draft him. pierre wont get the 8 or so HR that borbon can hit but he'll most likely steal more bases, hit for the same or better avg, but probably score a few less runs. in a dynasty id take borbon all day, but in redrafts, i like where pierre can be picked.
Since I don't consider Bourn worthy of his ADP, and Nyjer, Borbon, and CarGon are being drafted at rounds, I wouldn't call late, I won't consider them.
I am gunning for Pierre. Kenny Williams is to stupid to replace him, so despite him being a bad baseball player, he is going to get his steals.
If someone steals Juan from me, I am going:
Brett the Jet, Baby. He is a lock for 40 SB, because Winn is a LOOGY caddy and Thames is just terrible.

With Dukes gone and Maxwell now optioned to the minors, Willie Harris is slotted to be the starting LF for the Nationals. If given enough ABs, he could be a sleeper for steals. A decent sleeper in NL-Only leagues.
