Hard to say right now, as Perez doesn't really have a lot of closing experience. He's got good stuff and the Indians should be good offensively, but their defense is terrible. I'd leave him on waivers for now as his leash is probably going to be very tight, and the Indians prolly won't throw all the saves his way anyway.

I will play along. Who cares which team is better? Accuscore has Washington 6 games better, Pecota 4 games better.
But saves are greatly dictated by close games, not so much wins.
Perez Frasor
Storen will have Capps job by years end.
It's definitely close but even if Perez pitches well I think a share of saves will go to Wood when he comes back. Capps is in a contract year, with $500,000 in possible bonus money. I just have a feeling Capps will be a good 3rd closer on any team this year.
I'd take Frasor and Capps. I don't trust Dotel, haven't in a couple years. Keep an eye on Perez and see how he does. If he starts well, he'd be worth pouncing on. For now, Frasor and Capps are the way to go from those choices.

Yup, Perez and Frasor for me too, although I'd probably take Dotel over Capps as well (I disturst Dotel less than I distrust Capps). I just don't like Capps. As a complete last resort, maybe, but other than that I'm staying away.
Hootie - you should just put that quote about saves and close games in your sig, you need to bust it out every third DTK&W post you make anyway.
