Heyward not available in Yahoo draft?!

Well as of two years ago it didn't matter what setting you used, they sometimes would not have certain players available. And don't get me started on call ups...ugh the pain.

I would hope it does matter what our game *does*, and not what it did the last time you played multiple years ago Sorry if you had a frustrating experience, and I hope you're having fun where you're playing now, but it doesn't serve anyone well to report what we do in the present tense when you're actually talking about what we did two years ago.

Just as a follow-up to this...

Heyward was the only notable (game-changing) player who fell into this category that was noticed in our league.

There were several debates about "dibs", waiver-priority, off-line real-money bidding, switching to a FAAB system, etc... but in the end the only equitable way to resolve the problem was a gentleman's agreement throughout the league that he would be frozen out of our league this year. It's a shame, as I get a lot of enjoyment out of following players strictly for fantasy purposes, and it does feel like a rather fake way to fix the situation, but in the end (being a money league) there weren't a whole lot of equitable ways to get this done that wouldn't have drastically changed the look of a team in the league once he got added.

So... Heyward is frozen. Problem solved.

Next year I hope our commish takes a few more minutes in prepping the league settings than he did this year.
