A-Rod Trade Please Help

Postby logical25 » Sun Mar 28, 2010 1:48 pm

This is a 10 player head to head league. R, RBI, HR, OPS, AVG, SB are the hitting categories and W, L, SV, K, ERA, WHIP are the pitching categories.

I would give up: A-Rod, B. Webb, P. Hughes, R. Furcal
I would recieve: R. Halladay, King Felix Hernandez, Elvis Andrus, and Pablo Sandoval

I am in need of pitching help and although I hate to give up A-Rod this offer might be to good to turn down.

I'll be happy to help with any draft, trade and keeper questions you have, just post your link. Cheers.

I usually subscribe to the "whoever gets the best guy in the deal wins the trade" theory, but I think you got to do this one...The dropoff from A-Rod to Sandoval is not that great that you need to worry when you are winning all the other parts of the deal so handily! I beleive Webb's shoulder is toast, and Andrus will be as valuable as Furcal, at the very least...ergo, huge pitching haul for you!!!!

You have to grab this deal immediately.

In a 10 team league Webb is a roll of the dice and Furcal and Hughes have almost no value.

In essence the trade is A-Rod for Doc, King Felix, Sandoval.

agreed your getting probably the #1 and #2 best starting pitchers in the league. Webb still looks bad in Spring Training and although I doubt Sandoval is going to hit 330 again this year he's probably a bet to hit 25 HRs and drive in 90+ RBIs

Usually I would take A Rod side in a deal with lots of players, but I would go the other route. You're getting a great package for A Rod.

I updated my post. LEND YOUR INPUT TO MY POST.
