Not sure how much I should buy the hype about Heyward, but I'm tempted to drink the Kool-Ade!
Rios is currently slated to be a bench player for me - I already have Braun, Lind, BJ Upton and Borbon ahead of him in the OF - so it's probably not a big deal to drop him and roll the dice. Also, he was TERRIBLE during his time with the Sox last year.
However, he's 29 - prime hitter age - and his blah 2009 might just be an aberration after some good years in Toronto.
Rios: stay or go?

I'm not buying the Heyward hype. I don't care that Cox proclaims that Heyward is his starting RF. The fact is that Heyward will sit at least 2 times per week while Rios will be in the lineup everyday. I agree that Rios is inconsistent, but I think his upside for this year is better than Heyward's. Rumor is that Rios will run quite a bit this year so his steals could jump to the 25-30 range.

I like Rios to bounce back but I would go Heyward. Yes Heyward may be getting over hyped right now but there in no doubting the talent and potential. I'd go with the potential of Heyward on your bench over Rios!
Please help me out

Gut says I like Rios more... I hate seeing Heyward there. Post lineup and let's see any other options to drop.

I don't really want to do that because I want a backup at SS. If I do that, I have 6 OFs for only five open spots (including the two Utility slots). Plus, I'm not 100% sold on Andrus and want someone decent in case he fizzles...
