I've done tons of mock drafts, but I would really like to get a few opinions on where I should target Jason Heyward at in my upcoming Keeper league draft.
10 team, H2H keeper league draft that is 7x7 w/ the traditional 5x5 + OPS and Hits, K/9 and QS.
We keep 8 players and lose the rd that the keeper players are drafted in. (Example: Keeping a player drafted in the 5th rd cost a 5th rd pick next year).
w/ 10 teams x 8 keepers each, there are already 80 players off the board. I have Heyward targeted as a 12th rd pick (in a redraft keeper league), but w/ 80 players already gone, should I bump up his value as a 3rd - 6th rd pick? I don't see him as one of my keepers next year if I draft him in rds 3-6, unless he just dominates.
Here are my picks overall - through rd 12: 10th (rd 3), 14th (rd 4), 27th (rd 6), 37th (rd 7), 50th (rd 9), 53rd (rd 10), 64th (rd 11), 68th (rd 12)
my keepers:
Pujols (1)
Fielder (2)
A.Rod (5)
Tulo (8)
J. Upton (15)
Kershaw (17)
N. Cruz (22)
T. Hanson (23)
And the top OF available: Sizemore, Ellsbury, Bay, Carlos Lee, Markakis, Abreu, Choo Ramirez, Hamilton, Hunter, Bruce, McLouth, Beltran, Quentin, Ibanez, Bourn, Soriano,etc...
