I know a team that received too many catchers via Yahoo autopick. Maybe trade Span for Weiters straight up? But I have a lot of SP and RP depth, too, who would I need to give up for Weiters from the pitching in your opinion, as the same team needs SP and RP help.

I'd say maybe a Schezer and Chris Perez, should get it done IMO. However, if the rest of his catchers are garbage, he may not give up Weiters at all.

Agreed, Wieters is tough to pry away sometimes, but I think Scherzer and Perez is a nice package. Could also try Scherzer and Joba.

Span seems rich. He may ask for it. The packages suggested above are a better starting point, though the price may be even steeper than suggested.

IMO Joba is just name value, I'm not that high on him, in AL only he has a bit more value, but your stacked at RP anyways. Plus if it gets you Weiters its well worth having Matt starting then Gerald
