Draft SIzemore 1st round???

Postby oldmanbean » Sat Mar 27, 2010 9:31 pm

...and sacrifice the rest of my draft??

If I can pick Sizemore, then my remaining picks (25 rounds) are 5, 10 and 10 of the last 11. I MAY get a good pitcher at 5, but that would be about it.

Or, I can wait and take some good pitchers at 3 and 4 and take decent OFs later. What do you think?? Draft tomorrow!!!

C J Posada 5
1B M Cabrera 24
2B B Roberts 19
3B R Zimmerman 8
SS E Andrus 5, J Rollins 16
OF H Pence 10, N Swisher 4
P H Bell 4, J Hellickson 5, C Lee 15, A Wainwright 10

Draft the best player regardless of position and react later on... All I can suggest. If it is Sizemore, do it.

Gimme Sizemore... I just read in another thread about Sizemore and they had a great quote (sorry poster forgot who it was), but they said Grady's value is broke, the player is not. Thats entirely true, I would have faith in Sizemore, and heck you need him, Pence is solid, but Swish can hurt just as much as help. Get a solid OFer as you have 2 stud SP with Lee and Wainy already.

Great thanks to soto for the sweet sig!...

So if his value is broke, is he a first-rounder?? ($25)

And Lee is no guarantee now with his injury....

Thanks!!

I think Sizemore is worth $25, TO ME at least, I still have the faith in him. Also the reports I've been hearing, and right from the 'horses mouth' on ESPN, Lee said 1-2 MAYBE 3 games to start the year he will miss, but will be back very soon after that. I mean this isn't a 2-3 month DL stint for him.

I hope you're right.

Now, after all this soul-searching, watch someone else take him first!!! (I draft 5th, and 1st has already promised he would take Wright)
