As of today, Morales would be my only consideration, and while I think I would, I would want to go through my lineup to be certain. I do not care for Sheets either, but most would wait to see him out. I likely would as well.
I had drafted Chapman, but with the precious time out of action that just about automatically did in his chances of making the ball club to start the year. This I think is a bit risky judging with how the Reds went about Homer, they could bring him back up soon, or they could close him in the dark closet of the minors until the ASB or even further. Its hit or miss with these rookie arms, and like Seany said only guy i would consider is Morales but I'd make darn sure before cutting anyone that I'm ready to live with the cons of taking a chance on a rookie arm that may not see light in the bigs in the first half...
Chapman and Latos are 2 pitchers i have my eye on, my SP needs help, the rest of my team is very solid. 2 of you said Morales, is Street going to be back soon and should he be fine once he is?
I am so desperate for pitching i even dropped my catcher till i figure it out so i still need to find another person to drop so i can pick Soto back up before someone else grabs him.
I wouldn't play with fire boss... Get Soto back on your roster asap, a catcher like Soto is much more valueable to your roster then a low end SP. Cut ties with Morales and get Soto back, remember if your backend of your rotation isn't perfect right now, that SP is a revolving door, there are ALWAYS surprise arms throughout the season. I would much rather have a C of Soto's value then no catcher at all and bank on a rookie arm doing something...
