So this is the 5th year of a keeper league. Players can be kept for 4 years then have to be released. I really really want to get heyward and we draft today. I have the 16,18,28,31,40,51 overall... i'm flirting with the idea of taking heyward at 18? is this waaaaay to early? im worried if i wait to 28 he will be gone

I would have a hard time seeing Heyward go before pretty much any of those guys with the exception of maybe Berkman. I'd think you'd be safe taking him with your 31st... and you'll get a lot of "whoa's"... I know I did when I took him in the 15th in our league.

depends how many guys are kept right now? what round are you basically starting in?
i think you're gonna start seeing him go in about the 7-9th rounds in redraft leagues even with the announcement of him starting, he was hyped enough as it was, now with a starting job and a hot spring start?
in a keeper you need to snag him, but you cant pass up on other FOR SURE TALENT thats guaranteed to produce now....
