I'd grab one of Duch or Hughes (in that order) with Kennedy as an upside outlier.

Just have one question... Yes know he was in a stout AL East, but why is even even ranking Ian Kennedy. He was a top ranked prospect, but the Yanks gave him plenty of chance to make something out of it and he never did. How can you justify saying take an player whos had a shot to make it and didn't mold into anything, and has now moved to a lauch pad in Zona over a guy like Carmona? Just a question...

Upside really. Carmona was great in '07, and, for a variety of reasons, has been forgettable for the last two years. Kennedy hasn't had enough sample size to turn anyone off enough to pass over his prospect status. I tossed him into my post for upside reasons, but I wouldn't actually take him there (or Carmona) over Duch or Hughes. If the question was would you take Kennedy or Carmona then the answer changes a little. I think it's as much about the standard sort of form for answering these sorts of questions as it is anything else - you get a couple of serious options and a flyer. That's just how the list reads I guess.

I also hadn't taken a good look at Carmona's spring numbers. Now I have, and they look pretty sweet.

Hughes... Duch.... and despite what was posted above... I would try Kennedy. Having a nice spring. I've made worse gambles.
