Is Nelson Cruz for real? I am about to acquire him in a package deal and I am not completely sold on him.

Personally, I think he is for real and targeted him in both of my drafts. Got him in one.

I think he is real. It seemed like he was a bit streaky at times last year. He would have monster weeks, and weeks where he could barely get on base. He may be slightly maddening to track day by day, but I do consider him real and he should produce solid numbers for the year.

The power is real. I would expect a season of .280/30+/90+ without thinking twice, especially considering his home park.

yes id say cruz is the real deal, and his home park boosts his value. i had him last year and he can be frustrating to own but the power/speed combo is hard to deny

Yeah, I'm pretty sold on him. THT loves the guy and has him projected as a top 40 value for this year. Now that's optimism. (link)
