Which of these Offers Should I Accept and Why?

Postby rasto21585 » Thu Mar 25, 2010 7:40 pm

There are 3 trades I am considering. Which of the following should I accept and why?

#1 I give jesus montero, ubaldo and gio gonzalez for david wright
#2 I give ubaldo and alex avila for mccutchen and heyward
#3 I give ubaldo and sandoval for longoria and heyward

I like trade offer #3. Longoria is better than Sandoval. He will outperform him in three categories: HR, R, RBI. Your OF is kinda of weak IMO, and Heyward looks like a safe bet/can't miss talent that will greatly improve your OF for years to come. You have good pitching depth and pitchers are less consistent year in and year out - so I can part w/ Ubaldo for a future stud in Heyward.

I like to do trade #1 but i feel that would leave my pitching thin and lose my prize prospect. Damn this is a tough decision.

Honestly - #3 and it's not really even a question in my mind.

Maybe I should do both #1 and #3. The problem with this I would have to trade both ubaldo and lester. Yikes!!!

You can't do both unless you trade the same player 2x. I don't even know why the debate. Getting Longoria for Ubaldo and Sandoval is a steal - add in Heyward and it's a slam-dunk.
