14 Team H2H Points League

Postby shortsavage » Mon Mar 22, 2004 3:05 am

I am playing in a 14 team H2H points league where hitting is worth about 4% more than pitching. How did I do?

C - Javy Lopez
1B - Mike Piazza (I am going to trade him for a full time 1b)
2B - Jose Reyes
SS - Alex Cintron
3B - Hank Blalock
OF - Carlos Beltran
OF - Magglio Ordonez
OF - Corey Patterson
U - Geoff Jenkins
SP - Tim Hudson
SP - Jason Schmidt
SP - Roger Clemens
SP - Johan Santana
SP - Greg Maddux
RP - Jose Contreras

B - Milton Bradley
B - Sidney Ponson
B - Ken Griffey Jr.
B - Carl Pavano
B - BH Kim
B - Khalil Greene

M - Xavier Nady
M - Justin Morneau

Thanks for any feedback!

Conteras, Santana and Kim are all eligable as relief pitchers in our league. I can insert any of them in as my closer.

Nice team, although I do think you need at least a closer or two. Real closers. ;-)

Hehe, it is kinda shady, having all these demi-closers, maybe I will pick up a real closer somewhere along the line :-D.

I am sure a bunch of people have spent most of their energy picking up their jaw after they checked out this team :-D (hints the lack of comments).

Just kidding ;-) . I was just trying to think of something that I could say to hopefully milk out a few more comments :*) .

Nice team.

Its a points league so you don't need a closer. Closers in a points league are for lazy people that don't want to make changes to their starting lineup.

Your infield is pretty weak. You could use an upgrade at every single IF position. None of them are break out candidates so I would get on my horse and try to swing some deals to upgrade using your bench and SP as trade bait.
