No, do not trade LaPorta for Lindstrom. New closers always pop up during the season, so hang onto LaPorta for now and see how he does at the beginning of the season. You can find a closer some other time. Or you can trade for a better closer, but don't ever overpay for saves.

Hell no. There's always 10 new closers each year, so hold on to La Porta and be active on the WW. You'll get another closer.

How many teams are in this league? if it's 14 or more, I'd keep LaPorta, but honestly, if it's a 12-team or less and it's a NON-Keeper, I'd take Lindstrom.

If you look out there in most 12-team or less , non-keeper leagues, there are a TON of OF's who can put up similar #'s to LaPorta that are probably on the WW.

Yes, I know he'll get 1b eligibility soon as well, but 1b is probably the deepest position this year anyway. You could really use the help @ RP and you already have a decent OF.

Now, I might aim a little higher than Lindstrom, but even still, I think I'd make that offer

Don't do it. Lindstrom is a time bomb even if he gets the job. Think Joel Hanrahan last year.
