That is a pretty stacked team... in order to keep Heyward, you're going to have to take a leap of faith with him and keep him for several seasons over more productive guys (Mcab, kinsler, wright, hanley, Longo, Lester, JJ, Hanson all scream must-keep to me, and Quentin/BJ/Wieters are not far behind...) I'm fine with giving up either arm for Heyward though...
And yes, dump Alex Gordon for Chris Perez. Gordon is a bum, and will start off the season injured (again).
I would definitely try to get Heyward for Davis. obviously try your other options first to get heyward for least possible value, but i like any of them really.
and yes i would also drop gordon, some are high on him, but no signs show a reason to be.
I'd make the Davis-Heyward trade and go for the Gordon-Perez swap as well.
Ideally, though, I think I'd find some way of keeping Davis as I think he's poised for a nice season, even in that division. Maybe you can deal Danks for Heyward and get something else back, or upgrade another player of yours.
2. It would be more ideal to trade Latos than Davis if possible, right?
Of course not. Latos has greater strikeout upside, in the better park, better league, and especially better division. I've got Latos way ahead of Davis and equal to Danks just this year.
Danks is still young with room for improvement, and has already done it. Trade Davis.
