Thanks everyone for the replies thus far. I just had a quick update to this one:
1.) Shaun Marcum is also available, would he be a better pickup than others on my team and/or Slowey? 2.) Is Neftali Feliz be a better drop than Duch? Word has it he might be sent back down to AAA
I know Sanchez got hot last year down the stretch, but honestly he's not having a great ST, and he's never been really good with his control. If you're fine with a 4.5+ ERA and 1.40+ WHIP, low W-potential, but high K-potential, he makes a barely serviceable guy, but I would take Marcum over him for sure. Shaun looks sharp thus far in ST, and he was having his own break-out before injuries derailed him.
I actually like Duch over Slowey, he had a 4 scoreless IP last time out. I know he was hurt last year but 2 years ago at 100% he was a stud. If you must drop someone, however, I'd drop Feliz. Francisco has been holding down the closer spot pretty well, and you would have a good chance to pick him up once Wood is on the DL.
Duch was great in 2008 (you see what I did there?) but he's a 2 cat stud. His ERA and WHIP could be smokin' hot again, but I'm not sold on the W and especially not the Ks. His K/9 and K/BB from '08 were pretty meh. Those ratios though, yum yum. On a roster that has some ratio issues he could be dynamite.

thanks in advance and please leave a link
1. Nah, Marcum just got back from TJ and will probably need time to get back into it. Slowey is definitely better than Marcum right now.
2. Yes. Feliz is not a closer nor is he a starter. Unless your league has holds, I wouldn't bother with Feliz.
