With Kerry Wood starting the year on the DL, I need a little help in deciding who to pick up for the open roster spot:
Sean Rodriguez (TB - OF, 2B) - been absolutely killing it in spring and could possibly get SS eligibility as well Austin Jackson (DET - OF) - will bat leadoff and start in CF. Ian Desmond (Was - 2b, SS) - has looked good and could get the nod at SS over Guzman
Octavio Dotel (PIT - RP) - should be ready to go by opening day and has no real competition for the closers role Luke Gregerson (SD - RP) - will help me in the "Holds" category, pitches in Petco, and has a low ERA/WHIP Daniel Bard (BOS - RP) - should get a lot of holds on a good BOS team
Below is my team:
12-team 6x6 H2H Yahoo! NON-KEEPER league (includes HOLDS) c: Doumit 1b: Miguel Cabrera 2b: Cano ss: Stephen Drew 3b: David Wright IF: Chris Davis OF: Sizemore, Granderson, BJ upton Utl: Carlos Gonzalez BN: E. Cabrera, Heyward SP: Hamels, Nolasco, James Shields, Scherzer, J. Sanchez, Buchholz, Duchscherer RP: Bell, Mike Gonzalez, Wood, Neftali Feliz, Frasor 2x DL spots
I'd be between Rodriguez and Desmond since they have the possibility of helping your team most. Not a fan of Jackson or any of those RP except for Bard but I think you're okay in holds.
C= V. Martinez 1B = J. Morneau 2B = 3B= A. Ramirez SS= J. Reyes OF = Bay, Markakis and Kemp SP: Halladay, Webb, Cain, Garza, Weaver, B. Anderson RP: Broxton
Hmmmmm.... That's tough. You definitely don't need help in the OF, and Rodriguez likely won't play every day. Desmond has a lot of potential, and that lineup isn't bad. I'd go with him, but couldn't fault you for taking Gregerson for the holds, and in case Bell gets traded.
Thanks for the help with mine.
Thank you to soty for hooking me up with another awesome sig!
