I'm a big fan. I snagged him for 4 years, $1 in one of my auction leagues. I think long-term he is the guy to close in Seattle but in the meantime I'm expecting really good ERA, WHIP and K/9.

His ERA etc can only get better having the elite Seattle defense behind him.
He had a pretty good infield defense behind him last year (Rolen, Scutaro, Hill, Overbay), but that didn't stop him from giving up monster HRs at inopportune times.

Doubt that trend will keep up, though.
Which trend? The good numbers or the blow ups?
I think it's a good gamble to get him long term like Pogo did. You are likely to pay only a buck or two for him and if he does keep it up, you got a good closer on a great pitchers park for peanuts. If it doesn't work out, you only paid a buck anyway.
I'm too tired of watching League give away games to pay anything for him though.
I've always been high on him. He's got a much better chance at the closer's role than most other set up men. I think I would even prefer him over Adams at this point.
