Accept the counter as soon as you can before he balks again. Great trade for you. I have Jones in 2 keeper leagues, I'm one of the few who think he can put up great numbers over the course of a full season. The only possible thing that could hurt him is pitchers figuring him out, but guys like that are always a crap shoot.

I really like the counter offer for you. Your pitching staff can take the hit from losing Blanton and I like the potential upside in the future for Bumgarner. Berkamn for this year could be a real good play as well. Everyone is down on him b/c he's hurt, but I think he could be in for a pretty decent year.
And Capps is no real loss...I'd do the counter for sure
thanks for the help with mine, please help with this one when you have a chance:

Yea you are selling way high on a mediocre SP and CL. Take Berkman and run.
G Jones should get you a Slowey type, maybe. Slowey is a guy I am high on so would probably want more than Jones but give it a whirl. Wade Davis maybe?

Just a small point -- he already has Slowey, I just threw that name out there as an example of what he might get. Meaning, around Slowey's ADP. I wasn't suggesting Slowey, himself. Just so noone misunderstands.

Counter came back: HIS Berkman & Bumagrner for Blanton and Capps
I would definitely do that, although it leaves you kind of weak in the save dept.

If you haven't accepted it yet then do so. I am not a Berkman fan but would take him over Blanton considering your superb starters that you have already. Good luck
