Huff or N. Johnson? WHIR

Postby rayfan4life » Tue Mar 23, 2010 11:27 pm

So I'm thinking N. Johnson batting second and Huff locked in as SF's cleanup hitter represent waiver value. question is, who will be more valuable Rs, RBI,s HR, BA? Anyone think Johnson scores 90+ or Huff drives in 90+?

There's no doubt NJ is a better hitter and will offer better power numbers in that hitter friendly park. Based on the lineup support and ability's the choice is clearly NJ even though he is a huge injury risk. Huff is usually a slow start but turns it on in the second half, but with other options like Russel Branyon, Casey Blake, and possibly even Garrett Atkins who could put up similar stats it's worth passing on Huff and looking for another option later when (not if) NJ goes on the DL.

Yep, easy choice for me. Ride Nick until he gets injured.

In second last round of draft... I suddenly realized NJ was there. Then scooped from me right before. Not happy. Could have been pick of draft.

NJ is choice.
