I would do that in a dynasty. Kershaw, McCutch and Heyward is quite a haul.

Are there any drawbacks for me if I accept this deal? It kinda hurts to lose Rasmus. I can see him putting up Matt Holliday lite numbers this year.

Ditto. ;-D

Rasmus could be a nice player, but I don't think he could become a potential superstar like Heyward either. The fact you're getting Kershaw and McCutchen on the side for practically Lester and Jurrjens really clinches it.

It turns out he doesn't want to deal kershaw anymore. So instead he offered me a new trade. I get ubaldo jimenez, andrew mccutchen, jason heyward and howie kendrick for my lester, rasmus, jurrjens and alex avila. How is this trade?

I'd still pull the trigger. Is Ubaldo even a downgrade at this point? I think he may have sweetened the deal for you in my opinion.

I would accept this trade. Ubaldo is still getitng better and is young, McCutchen is young and should mold into a very solid player, Heyward has all kinds of upside and Kendrick, if he can stay healthy, could post a .300+ BA to go along with some power/SB.
