Crawford or Sizemore

Postby oldmanbean » Tue Mar 23, 2010 12:49 pm

According to ratings here and on Yahoo, Craford is the preferred choice. However, CBS projections and 3-yr average show Sizemore ahead by quite a bit. Who would you prefer?? Funny thing is that the 3-year average leader is Bobby Abreu.

All 3 are available in our league.

it depends on what your league scores, and if you want power more than speed, Sizemore is more of a all around player and a 30/30 threat but his average is weak compared to Crawford, Crawford will give 40+ steals, average and OBP and around 10-20 hrs. If the league scores OPS and/or SLG get Sizemore.

help with mine?

What do you mean "all 3 are available in our league?" If you mean they're free agents, you need to pick up each of them now. I doubt that though. If you mean all 3 are available to draft, I would probably choose Crawford in a 5x5 format. The average boost is just rock-solid, and 15/60 is worth just as much, if not more than 30/30. Leagues that count power more, I'd probably go Sizemore.

Our league is straight points, and the CBS ratings are based on that. We get 1 point per total base, 2 for RBI, 2 for steals, 1 per run scored, etc. Sizemore is projected at 60 poionts above Crawford (655-595)
