I love your offense. I think you will compete at the top of every category, except steals.. but definitely have a positive outcome in that as well.

As for pitching... Should be in the upper half for K's, and ERA with those good WHIP RP's.

I'm used to playing 10 team leagues, and your squad looks like an upper tier squad even in a 10. IMO you'll definitely be in contention.

Really like the starting pitching. And you have a good balance on your offense. really like the guys like Lind Butler and McClutch. You should battle for the championship if you stay healthy.

the first thing that jumps out is Baker at C. doesnt he split time with Paulino in Florida? Baker doesnt hit LH pitching..
09- .171/.310/.314/.624
08- .213/.316/.319/.635
he wouldnt be bad to team with someone else because when he does play against RH pitching he can hit them..
09- .281/.354/.420/.774
08- .327/.417/.487/.904
in a 12 team league i can think of a bunch of catchers that have more of an upside than Baker. unless theres more about Baker i dont know.

Peralta at SS worries me. he could bounce back after a disappointment last season. Zobrist also has SS eligibility and if Rodriguez can continue into the season what hes doing in ST he can be good and you can use him at MI with Zobrist at SS.

the rest of your offense looks stacked

help?

I wish Zobrist had SS in CBS, 2B-OF only...I punted SS and C which is why I ended up with those 2. Went with Baker cause he won't hurt my avg compared to a John Buck or Olivo...hopefully I can pick up a better C during the season. I'm a big believer in Peralta being great value considering he was a 20th round pick. He's been a .270 20 HR guy more often than not.

Really solid team all around, especially for 12 man roto. Injuries are the only reason I could think of why you won't contend for the league trophy. ;-D

EDIT: Thoughts? My team

Other than saves and maybe steals, you have a very solid team. Any catchers on the waiver wire better than Baker? I'm just nitpicking now, lol.

I agree with the masses. Good team. You can start praying that Santana starts out on fire so you can trade him for a catcher.
