Jeter/Zimmerman or Reyes/Reynolds?

Postby angels7777 » Tue Mar 23, 2010 1:31 am

I am thinking the Reyes/Reynolds side is riskier but potentially the perfect speed/power combo that fills out my team needs.

Jeter/Zimmerman is safer and consistent and easier on the AVG...

I am just looking at these combos post draft - I went Reynolds 4th round and Reyes 5th, but in hindsight I could have went Jeter 4th and Zimmerman 5th.... what do u think?

I also like the Jeter/Zimmerman side. They may not have as a high of a ceiling, but they are definately safer. That is the way I would go.

Jeter/Zimmerman. Especially in a non-keeper. Reyes could very well miss most of April, and not been in form until May. Ill take Jeter for consistency all year.

Not to mention Zimmerman could put up man beast numbers this year.

well technically in H2H you do not exactly need guys until the fantasy playoffs so Reyes being out a month is not as big of a factor...

There's a good case that Zimmerman is closer to third round talent... you're looking at an injury/regression combo in reyes/reynolds instead of the stability of Jeter/Zimm. I like the J/Z side of it.

I like Zimmerman for this year, so give me the Zimm/Jeter side.
