12 Team Keeper ... Am I A Loser? WHIR

Postby wrothdawg » Tue Mar 23, 2010 12:26 am

I play in a 12 H2H 5 Keeper league and I hope I didn't blow it. The categories are: AVG,R,HR,SB,RBI,OBP,SLG & W,QS,S,K,BB,ERA,WHIP.

C - Montero (13th round - #153)
1B - Fielder (Keeper)
2B - Roberts (K)
3B - A Ramirez (6-69)
SS - A Escobar (18-213)
LF - Dunn (7-81)
CF - Bourn (9-105)
RF - Pence (8-93)
OF - Choo (K)
UT - Butler (10-117)
B - Snider (19-225), Prado (20-237), Maybin (22-261), E Cabrera (23-273)

SP - Haren (K), J Johnson (K), Peavy (11-129),
RP - Cordero (12-141), M Gonzalez (16-189)
P - Garza (14-165), Burnett (15-177)
B - Lilly (17-201), Matusz (21-249)

Over all , I'm happy with my team. I tried to balance out all of the categories the best I could. I know SS is where I'm weakest, but I mostly need SB's form that position and I'm fairly content with Escobar. Butler was the steal of the entire draft since everyone already had a 1B and they were trying to fill other positions. What does everyone else think, should I be :-) or :~( . Please fell free to leave you link.

I think your team looks fine, you can definitely compete if everybody plays to their potential. I would definitely try to trade Haren before the ASB, though. His second halves are always worse than his first halves.

Thanks for the help. Your team looks good. Good blend of power and speed offensively. As for pitching, you have quality power arms with good upside.

I'd be happy with your team if I were you...frankly the steal of the draft to me is Garza that low!

Good mix of power/speed...watch your BA with Bourn and Dunn.

THanks for the help with mine. I've never done a roto league so take my thoughts with a grain of salt.... team looks good overall, I'm a fan of Bourne and A Ram this year so hopefully they hit their potential. THe only question mark in my mind is Peavy but I think he was quite the steal in round 11, it might be worth trading him high if he gets off to a good start.

Looks like a few names fell to you. I especially like Butler as well. I am in a league where I am running with the same SS as you. I am not concerned either. Good luck.

Thanks for help with mine.
